When you link a bank account to your PayPal account, money is automatically deducted from your bank account when you make purchases or send money. Using your bank to pay is a quick and simple method to keep track of your expenditures. However, before you know it, these automatic payments will start to drain all of the money from your bank account.
The first thing you should know is that someone must give you access to your bank account to allow PayPal to withdraw funds. They do this by either logging in to your online banking site or using their own system by writing a code over the phone. Once logged in, they can change your password, remove you as a user, or do anything else with your account. It's important to keep track of who has access to your account at all times.
PayPal also charges a fee for each transaction that needs to be processed through your bank account. This could put a significant strain on your budget if you have several small purchases to make. There are two ways to avoid these fees: use a credit card instead or set up a direct deposit. If you use a credit card then there is no charge for any transaction under $10,000. For higher amounts, there is a fee based on how much money is being transferred.

If your refund was denied or fails, it means there are one or more insufficient funds in your PayPal account. You must have available credit in your PayPal account to receive a refund. If you don't have enough credit, you can request a credit by contacting Customer Service. Denied refunds are usually processed within 24 hours. If your refund still hasn't appeared after 24 hours, contact Customer Service.
Issued but not paid for items: If an item you purchased has not been shipped yet, it will show up as pending in your PayPal account. You cannot cancel these items — once they have been paid for, they become final purchases and cannot be canceled. However, if the item has not been shipped yet, you can ask PayPal to withhold payment until it ships. This way, you won't be charged for items that you cannot return.
Invalid email address: If you entered an invalid email address, you will not receive your refund. Please enter a valid email address so we can reach you if we need further information.
